Khuda Aur Mohabbat Ep-26 Review: Mahi and Farhad finally come face to face
The episode begins with Sikandar’s kids and his mother being sad about Mahi’s iddat coming to an end. Soon, she would have to leave the haveli. The maids of the mansion tell Sikandar’s mother to get Mahi married to Sikandar so she can stay there for good. Not sure of how to mention this to Mahi, Sikandar’s mother instead tells her that she’s worried about Sikandar who keeps spending time with Romana.
Without informing Sikandar’s mother, Mahi sends for Romana who is elated at receiving an invitation from Sikandar’s place. She tells Chandaji in excitement who seems wary of the way Romana received the invitation.
Romana meets Mahi who tells her she should leave Sikandar and forget about him. A heartbroken Romana leaves with the promise that she would never meet Sikandar again.
Sikandar’s mother listens to Mahi and Romana’s entire conversation. Mahi thinks she will be upset and angry with her but to her surprise, she is happy with what she has done and says Mahi is the daughter she never had.
Sikandar’s mother tells him that she wants him to marry because she’s the only one who can love his kids like they were her own. Sikandar dismisses the idea immediately but his mother tells him to do it for her sake.
Romana tells Chandaji that she wants to leave the city and never return because upon meeting Mahi, she has realized someone like her isn’t destined to be someone’s wife, mother, and daughter-in-law. Chandaji tells her she will go with her wherever Romana goes.
Mahi’s mother is eagerly waiting for her iddat to be over so she can bring Mahi home. Mahi’s father tells her to keep her patience for a few more days and then she can bring her home.
On the day when Mahi’s iddat ends, Sikandar’s mother takes her to the shrine where they distribute food and clothes among the needy. That’s when Mahi comes face to face Farhad sitting there like a vagabond gypsy. The two look at each other in disbelief, taking a second to register that it is indeed the two of them.
The episode ends with Mahi losing her consciousness and fainting right before Farhad.
Finally, Mahi and Farhad met each other, something that audiences had been waiting for since forever. It will be interesting to see how the story moves forward now that the two of them have met each other. To find out, keep watching KAM on Fridays at 8 PM on Geo Entertainment.
