Kuch Ankahi Episode-24 Review: Aaliya’s family has already accepted Salman

ARY Digital’s classy drama serial Kuch Ankahi is moving towards its conclusion and the thought of its ending making us sad. Its nostalgic old-school vibes have made us fall in love with this serial. Performances are simply mind-blowing. In the previous episode, we have seen that Asfar is taking a keen interest in Aaliya. In this episode, it seems like Aaliya’s family has already accepted Salman but Asfar’s entry ruins Aaliya and Salman’s scene.

Kuch Ankahi has beautifully tucked-in messages and nuances which simply win our hearts. The anniversary scenes are so cute. Salman gifts the parents dresses and then praises Shamoo in a flirtatious manner and passes interesting comments on Agha jee’s outfit simply making Salman too much part of the family. Samia’s praising Salman for his decoration and then saying that he will do it for them in the future speak volumes about Salman being accepted as a family.

Mona’s closure is not making much sense all of a sudden she and Ali gets back to Tania and asks her not to back off or post an apology letter. It seems that Ali is interested in Mona at least we get that kinda feels. Shakeel is the only friend who is with Tania through thick and thin. Shagufta is worried for Saif is not picking up her call. Shagufta’s father has decided that he will not going to live with her in this house so he has joined an old home. Strange!

The anniversary scene cake cutting and blowing of the candles are going well when out of nowhere Asfar makes his entry disturbing Salman and Aaliya’s feelings. Asfar and his rich guy’s problems fail to create any sympathy for him. He should leave Aaliya instead of forcing her to get into a relationship. He can simply see how close Salman and Aaliya are! Ignoring this fact is making him a grey character. Aaliya should end up with Salman, not Asfar!

Aaliya and Salman’s conversation on the rooftop is one powerful scene where we see Aaliya ending up in tears when she learns that Salman has applied for Canadian immigration. Her tears speak volumes about what she feels for Salman. Agha Jaan also told Shammo that Asfar is good but not better than Salman. Shammo is impressed by Asfar’s status that she altogether starts ignoring Salman. Will Aaliya marry Asfar for money? Irsa Ghazal has given an incredible performance when she learns about Samia’s decision of leaving Saif. That fit scene gives us goosebumps. She starts blaming herself for ruining her daughter’s life. Samia’s character is also very endearing. I wish this play never ends!
