Tere Bin Episode-11 and 12 Review: It is Meerub & Murtasim’s electrifying chemistry making it worth watching

The unnecessary dance sequences, sensationalizing of the scenes, make drama a bit dragged

Tere Bin the drama serial airing at Geo Entertainment seems highly inspired by the Star plus drama serials. Being a typical 7th Skt Entertainment production,  Tere Bin at points seems to be quite over-the-top media, established right from the beginning. The unnecessary dance sequences, sensationalizing of the scenes and nonsensical storytelling is what make it an average watch. However, it is Wahaaj and Yumna’s electrifying chemistry which makes this show worth watching!

Well, why do makers need to make Yumna’s character toxic too? Meerub despite being a headstrong girl is a bit toxic in the way she makes fun of Haya’s feelings and her suicidal attempt, making her quite insensitive. It is hard to watch Yumna Zaidi portraying a toxic character. Meerub is giving Murtasim a really tough time in episode 11 poor guy has to sleep on the sofa where it is hard to fix his legs.

The actual sensational scene is the Valima one, where the poorly executed dance sequence has shown. Well, this dance sequence is not as bad as Haya’s dance at the Mehndi and Meerub is looking too cute in that scene. It is Wahaaj and Meerub’s chemistry which is making us hooked to the screens. The chemistry is certainly electrifying! Meerub just to tease Murtasim and his mother dances at her own Valima with the villager professional dancers.

Murtasim being a solid character is making us fall in love with him, but for actually falling in love with the character we really need to forget that slap! Apart from that one slap he has proven himself as a solid guy! Despite Meerub crossing her limits, he surprises everyone with his gesture of throwing money over her dancing bride in the public and then expresses his anger in private.

Amma Begum is another toxic character she calls Meerub back to the venue and slaps hard on her face in front of all the people. Murtasim takes a stand for his wife by not greeting his mother the next morning at Breakfast. The way he is taking a stand for her despite knowing the fact that their marriage is merely a paper one is making him a great character. It says that Murtasim is a man of principles and it seems that Murtasim is smitten by his bride.

It seems that there are deeper feelings beneath this revenge between Muratsim and Meerub. We have seen in episode 12 that Murtasim is literally flirting with Meerub. The way he teases her by making her scared of ghosts and the way she clings to him when she gets scared speaks volumes about their relationship. We are simply loving the way Murtasim is romantically teasing Meerub but the sexual tension between them is real. However, we are wishing that Meerub put aside all her anger and accepts Murtasim as her husband.
