Tumharey Husn Kay Naam Episode-12 Review: Quite heartbreaking!

Sikandar decides to marry Muneeza to save Salma

Tumharey Husan Kay Naam, Green Entertainment’s drama serial which used to be a classic romance has turned into quite a regressive story. From classic romance to domestic violence, the play is no longer a pleasant watch. Saba Qamar’s performance is simply brilliant. In the previous episode, we have seen Salma being the victim of domestic violence. In this episode, the domestic violence continues which is quite heartbreaking!

The question arises why the hell Salma is facing all this torture and domestic violence? What is stopping her from telling her parents what she is going through? Why is Salma trying to hide her bruises from her own father? Salma’s father has got the truth but why he is still calm? Salma’s father has disappointed us the most he happens to be such a progressive father why he is letting his daughter be in an abusive relationship?

Sikandar is yet another disappointment, instead of giving that vile Muneeza a shut-up call, he out of nowhere decides to marry her and it seems he is doing that for Salma’s sake! How stupid of him? Despite knowing how vile and envious Muneeza is, he decides to marry her so that he can save Salma’s house from her. Well, why Muneeza agrees to marry the penny-less Sikandar is again making no sense at all.

Salma’s father instead of taking a solid stand about the bruises he sees on her daughter’s face decides to take a stand for the continuation of her education! Well, Atif behaves very rudely and harshly on it plus his mother says very mean things about Salma. Still both the parents leave Salma there which means people knowing that how badly she is being treated in that house. Why Salma is enduring all this is a big question.

Atif is being the most obnoxious person. He is torturing Salma in all possible ways but we do not want to see them repeatedly on screens. It is so regressive to watch domestic violence on screen. Why Salma is facing all this abuse why she is not telling her parents that she wants separation? Even Atif’s mother is as horrible as him although his father seems like a bit sane-headed person. However, the reason why Salma is silently enduring all this abuse is beyond our comprehension.

From being a classic romance to this regressive story Tumharey Husn Kay Naam’s current storyline is quite heartbreaking.
