Avengers Endgame breaks all records in tickets pre-sale
The latest film from Disney’s Marvel Studios Avengers Endgame broke all the records in tickets pre-sale leaving behind Star Wars: The Force Awakens in just six hours. The tickets went on sale on Tuesday, prompting fans to flock to the ticket-seller websites Fandango and AMC to purchase their tickets.
The website Fandango announced a virtual queue to the fans who logged onto it.
A graphic popped up on the website allowing people to wait for few minutes until green signals to grab their tickets.
“You’re now in line for tickets,” read a graphic on the website.
Not only Avengers Endgame made history for ticket pre-sales; Fandango announced that Tuesday was also the site’s best sales day ever in over 19 years of business.
Likewise, AMC’s website and its ticketing app, however, appeared to be down due to the high demand.
Avengers Endgame is scheduled to release in US on April 26, In UK, April 25 and April 24 in Australia.
