Daniel Craig Quits, Tom Hardy cast as New 007, Another April’s Fool Prank Shocks Fans

It was also April Fool’s Day, not many paid heed to the date, as movie fans were shocked and surprised to hear that Daniel Craig had pulled out of the next James Bond movie and Tom Hardy had signed on to replace him as 007.

Yes it was a prank and many fall to it successfully, even Tom Hardy himself enjoyed every bit of it, actor posted on his Instagram capture of the news story

And naturally this was more than enough to further confused his fans, to which many came assuming that he has been actually been cast as James Bond.

In reality Craig will star in his fifth and final 007 movie, Bond 25, for a November 2019 release as reported earlier.

The prank was followed by some hilarious reactions over Twitter
