Netflix’s Bitconned has amassed an impressive 100% positive rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
The documentary was released on Netflix on January 1 and just after a month, it has already amassed an impressive 100 per cent positive rating on reviews aggregator Rotten Tomatoes.
Directed by Bryan Storkel, Bitconned chronicles the cryptocurrency craze of the late 2010s.
It centres specifically on the Centra Tech scandal in 2017 which was a company operating in Florida.
Bitconned stars real-life businessman Ray Trapani, who openly boasts that he dreamt up the entire scam.
In the documentary, he said: ‘Crypto [was] just this new unfound territory, completely unregulated by the SE. Anytime you find a market like that, you just have to figure out how to exploit [it]’.
