Suno Chanda to have a season 3?

Here’s an amazing news for all Suno Chanda fans. While we were still missing the second season of the much loved show, it seems, the team is already gearing up for the third season.

In a recent chat with BBC Asian, Momina Duraid, confirmed that talks for a third season were underway, however, if it did happen, the show would return after a break.

“Hello #SunoChanda fans. #MominaDuraid has confirmed there ARE discussions about a third season but it WILL NOT air in 2020. There will be two year break and *if* it happens, it will air in 2021. Part of the series will be set in the UK,” tweeted Haroon Rasheed, BBC Asian representative.

However, earlier, while talking to Something Haute, Farhan Saeed had stated that the writer Saima Akram Chaudhry, didn’t plan on penning down a third season. “I was talking to the writer and she was clear in her mind that she is not going to do (write) a third one. But you never know; we were as clueless about it after season one.”

Considering how Jiya (Iqra Aziz) really wanted to pursue higher studies in the UK, the storyline will be aptly adopted if it heads to the West. So here we are waiting for a formal announcement from MD Productions, as to whether or not Suno Chanda 3 happens and when it hits our screens.
