Trailer Review Loveratri: Color, love and dance

They say Salman Khan ‘doston ka dost hai’ or ‘Yaron ka Yar’. Being true to his reputation, ‘Sallu bhai’ has given the perfect platform for his brother in law Aayush Sharma via Loveratri. Amongst much fanfare, its trailer has been launched. Aayush Sharma, is starring opposite Warina Hussain. The film shows a lot of colour, dance and a simple boy girl story.

The film is set in Baroda City and in a festive environment. The songs, the colors and the dance also constantly remind the viewer that this is a festive (Navratri) movie, made to put you in a happy movie. By the looks of it, it is one of those boy meets girls sort of story, we have seen plenty before. Bhai’s behanoi, Aayush Sharma is playing a Gujarti Garba teacher. He falls in love with Warina Hussain, who is visiting India for the festival.

Aayush gets 9 days to impress Warina before she goes back to India. Her dad, Ronit Roy, looks to be against this match. The 2nd half of the movie perhaps moves to good old London too. You go from the densely populated city of Baroda to the skyscrapers of London. We also get to see Sohail Khan and Arbaaz Khan, in what looks like a cameo role as Gujrati Police officers in London Metropolitan Police.

The trailer reveals that this will be a feel good, full of colours, festive movie, with two fresh actors. Directed by Abhiraj Minawala and written by Naren Bhatt, Loveratri is set to release on October 5th. It remains to be seen how the two lead actors perform, and how much of an impact Bhai will have on this fortune of the film. Will bhai fans flock to the cinemas like they do for his films?
