Bilal Pasha, Bannu Cantonment Board CEO is reported to died of suicide!

Bannu Cantonment Board chief executive officer Bilal Pasha allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself inside his official residence on Monday, the police said on Tuesday.

The news of Pasha’s death, who was a distinguished CSS officer, spread across social media like wildfire. It was reported earlier that he died of cardiac arrest.

Bilal Pasha was suffering from depression, the police claimed.

According to DPO Bilal Pasha was transferred from Bannu to Rawalpindi.

 

 

The Police reached the residence of Mr Pasha after receiving information about the incident and found him lying in a pool of blood.

The body of the deceased was shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital, Bannu.

According to the cantonment police station, SHO Raza Khan an inquiry has been launched into the incident to ascertain whether the official had committed suicide or had been killed by someone.

He said the deceased had a single bullet wound in his head.

As reported, the funeral prayers of Bilal Pasha were held on the premises of the cantonment board, following which the body was dispatched to his home district of Khanewal in Punjab for burial.

In a conversation with the media, Bilal Pasha’s father said that my son never told me that he was worried or had any tension.

“We are poor people, my son was not the son of a Nawab, I miss my son’s ability, morals and love, he used to explain to me like a father consoles his son,” the father of the deceased told the news outlet.

Bilal Pasha secured 47th rank in the CSS examination.

On the other hand, District Police Officer (DPO) Bannu Ismail Khan said that he himself examined the incident from every aspect, the incident was suicide, according to the postmortem report, Bilal Pasha committed suicide by shooting himself in the head.
