Pakistan Islamic Medical Association (PIMA) on Monday advised people to make ablution (Wuzoo) at their homes and bring their prayers mats with them while coming to offer prayers in the mosques, the association has also advised elderly people to offer prayers at home and stay away from mosques amid coronavirus outbreak in Sindh rising the cases to 146.

Giving the reason why elderly persons were urged not to go outside even in mosques, PIMA health experts said: “social distancing” is one of the significant concepts to decrease the spread of deadly disease.

People are directed to avoid coming to mosques or meet with a large number of people if they are sick and have any symptoms of illness. Likewise, if somebody is sick and not feeling well, he should be advised against coming to the mosque.
