‘Sialkot incident has disgraced this country and Muslim Ummah’, Mufti Taqi Usmani
Leading religious scholar Maulana Taqi Usmani has reacted to the death of a foreign national in Sialkot.
Reacting to the death of a Sri Lankan manager in a factory in Sialkot, Maulana Taqi Usmani said that blasphemy is a very serious crime but the evidence of the accused committing has to be equally strong.
“Taking it upon oneself to lay accusation and mete out punishment in a barbaric and Haram way has no justification at all,” he added.
“The Sialkot incident has disgraced this country and Muslim Ummah,” Mufti Taqi Usmani said.
