‘The Simpsons’ Predicted Titanic Sub Disaster?

Well, the internet yet again thinks that an episode of The Simpsons from 2006 may have predicted another real-life event.

In a strange twist of fate, the program predicted the missing Titan submarine which has gripped the world’s attention and was set to run out of oxygen today.

The submersible, named Titan, which had five people on board, went missing on early Sunday as it went on a 4000-meter journey below sea level to explore the Titanic wreckage in the North Atlantic Ocean.

Titan was carrying British billionaire Hamish Harding and Pakistani business tycoon Shahzada Dawood and his son Suleman, who also have British citizenship, on $250,000 tickets.

Some fans believe the storyline is close enough about the missing submersible traveling to the depths of the ocean to see the Titanic wreckage.

A clip from the 10th episode of the above-mentioned season is now doing rounds on social media.

It shows family patriarch Homer Simpson is led on an adventure by a man who he believes to be his biological father, Mason Fairbanks. He takes him out on his ship and tells him about the lost emerald treasure of the sunken ship, the “Piso Mojado.”

Mason and Homer ultimately decided to head into the depths of the ocean in individual submersibles to try and find the treasure. However,  the pair get separated when some chaos ensues.

Homer gets stuck in some coral and he begins to lose consciousness as the oxygen runs low in his vessel. The Simpson’s dad eventually wakes up three days later in a hospital and survives the ordeal.

While it may not be an exact prediction of what is happening with the Titan submersible, however, some fans believe it’s a close call.

Well, seriously, we need to investigate the writers of the show because this is getting out of hand man!

The Simpsons predicted the Titan submersible tragedy in 2006 after predicting 9/11 and Trump’s presidency.
