Twitter reacts as the controversial figure Boris Johnson becomes UK’s new Prime Minister

Hardline Brexiteer Boris Johnson after winning the UK’s Conservative Party leadership contest has been elected as the UK’s new Prime minister. He will take over from outgoing Prime Minister Theresa May when she steps down on Wednesday.
Johnson took 92,153 votes, while rival Jeremy Hunt scored 46,656 votes in a ballot of party members. Turnout was 87.4% with Johnson taking 66% of votes.
There has been an enourous reaction over the twitter as he was not voted in by a majority of the British citizens, he is a controversial populist accused of racism and sexism. Conservative Party members have elected Boris Johnson as the next Prime Minister of the UK.
Johnson is a former journalist and Mayor of London who is regularly mocked as a clown and outed for barefaced lies.
In a weekly column for UK newspaper The Telegraph he has described black people as “piccaninnies” with “watermelon smiles,” and Muslim women in burqas as looking like “bank robbers” and “letterboxes.”
A number of prominent government ministers have already saidthat they will resign in the outcome of Johnson’s win. Today, Johnson said, “I say to all the doubters, dude, we are going to energize the country.”
Here is how Twitter reacts after Boris Johnson’s selection as the new British prime minister.
Boris Johnson has won the support of fewer than 100,000 unrepresentative Conservative Party members by promising tax cuts for the richest, presenting himself as the bankers' friend, and pushing for a damaging No Deal Brexit.
But he hasn't won the support of our country.

The more the usual insufferably self-righteous, PC-crazed, virtue-signalling liberal snowflake suspects scream with horror about Boris, the more I'm warming to the idea of him as Prime Minister.
Like Trump, he has a commendable talent for sending them all completely nuts. pic.twitter.com/2o3OUIVSJp— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) July 23, 2019
