#HBLPSL8: Babar Azam joins Peshawar Zalmi
The eight edition of PSL will be played from February 9 to March 19 next year
Babar Azam, the national team skipper will be seen in action in HBL PSL8 playing for the Peshawar Zalmi franchise.
Pakistan all-format captain and the most successful batter in the history of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Babar is the only player in the Platinum category for Peshawar Zalmi this year.
The prolific right-hander is the all-time highest scorer of PSL with 2,413 runs to his credits in 68 matches.
In one of the biggest trades of the tournament, 2017 champions Zalmi snapped Babar in the Platinum category.
Meanwhile, Peshawar Zalmi is the only side to retain seven players!

He represented Islamabad United in the inaugural edition of the PSL.
Before PSL 2017 players’ draft, Babar Azam was moved to Kings. Since then, he represented the Karachi Kings in six PSL editions and also captained the franchise this year.
