Pakistan squad departs for Australia Test tour

The squad, consisting of 18 players and 17 management team members, will first travel to Dubai, from where they will travel to Sydney. 

Pakistan squad departed for Australia early Thursday for the three-match Test series against the Kangaroos.

Shah Masood is resolute to change history on his maiden tour as test captain.

The squad, consisting of 18 players and 17 management team members, will first travel to Dubai, from where they will travel to Sydney.

From Sydney, the team will travel to Canberra where they will play a practice match against Australia Prime Minister’s XI scheduled to start from December 6.

However, the newly appointed batting coach Adam Hollioake and high-performance coach Simon Grant Helmot are not traveling with the squad. They will join the Pakistan team in Australia.

 

According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the squad will start their training sessions in Canberra on Sunday starting at 10 am local time.

Shan Masood (captain), Aamir Jamal, Abdullah Shafique, Abrar Ahmed, Babar Azam, Faheem Ashraf, Hasan Ali, Imam-ul-Haq, Khurram Shahzad, Mir Hamza, Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Mohammad Wasim Jnr, Noman Ali, Saim Ayub, Salman Ali Agha, Sarfaraz Ahmed (wk), Saud Shakeel and Shaheen Shah Afridi.
