Xavi Hernández has decided to leave Barcelona at the end of the season!

Xavi revealed his decision on Saturday following Barcelona’s 5-3 loss at home to Villarreal, in which they surrendered a 3-2 lead.

The Blaugrana boss made the statement in the post-game press conference at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys

The 44-year-old Barcelona manager stated that the situation at the club ‘needs to change’.

Xavi said: ‘I want to announce that on June 30 I will no longer continue as the coach at Barça. I think the situation needs to change course, and as a culer, I cannot allow the current situation.’

The latest defeat leaves the defending La Liga champions 10 points behind leaders Real Madrid.
