Instagram down across the globe on Monday evening.
Instagram has apparently gone down with people being mistakenly told their accounts have been suspended.
Millions of users from across the globe reported their accounts getting suspended while others were unable to log into their accounts or send messages.
Screenshots appear to show loads of users being suspended all at once.
The incident happens days after the Meta-owned messaging platform WhatsApp also faced an outage across the world that lasted more than two hours.
According to outage tracker Downdetector, the app went down on Monday evening.
Instagram Commsi in a tweet addressing the issue said, “We’re aware that some of you are having issues accessing your Instagram account. We’re looking into it and apologize for the inconvenience.”
