Former Punjabi film actress Anjuman and husband Lucky dismiss ‘divorce’ reports
A renowned former Punjabi film actress Anjuman and her husband Waseem Ali, popularly known as ‘Lucky’ Ali have refuted all reports circulating on media about their divorce and termed them ‘fake and fabricated’.
“The media reports about our divorce are fake. We are happy and enjoying our married life together,” the couple declared in a video message.
Anjuman and Lucky tied the knot on June 17, 2019, in an intimate ceremony. Later, the two had publicly confirmed their wedding. Pictures from the event were then shared on social media.
For quite some time, their divorce rumours were surfacing on local media but the duo has now dismissed all such reports.
Anjuman was at the peak of her career in the 1980s. Her on-screen pairing with famed actor Sultan Rahi was loved by audiences worldwide. The two worked in a number of super hit Punjabi films including Shair Khan, Jeedar, Chan Waryam, Asho 302 and Moti Shair among others. However, after the murder of Rahi, Anjuman’s career also took a downturn.
Lucky tried his hand at acting in films such as Raaka, Billa and Dil Tote Tote Hogaya but failed miserably.
