Prince Harry’s bombshell memoir is set to hit the shelves on 10 January 2023!

The publisher of the book announced the release date along with the title on Thursday.

The book titled ‘Spare’ likely refers to “the heir and the spare”, a saying that is used to describe Harry and his brother William.

Furthermore, Harry will read the audiobook version of the memoir himself.

Prince Harry’s book will be published on January 10, almost three years to the day after Harry and Meghan Markle’s bombshell exit from the Royal Family.

The memoir will be available in English in the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, India, South Africa, and Canada.

The book will also be published in translation into 15 additional languages, including Spanish, Italian, German, and Chinese.

Prince Harry’s publisher, Penguin Random House, said: “On 10 January 2023, readers everywhere will be part of a landmark publication: the story of Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex. Personal and emotionally powerful, SPARE will be published by @transworldbooks, supporting two special charities.”

According to the Publisher Penguin Random House’s description: “With its raw, unflinching honesty, Spare is a landmark publication full of insight, revelation, self-examination, and hard-won wisdom about the eternal power of love over grief.

“Spare takes readers immediately back to one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror.

“As Diana, Princess of Wales was laid to rest, billions wondered what the princes must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.”
