Shab-e Deewar Episode 2 Review: Feroza elopes, leaving the house in grief

Deewar-e Shab a very classy drama serial being aired on Hum TV.  The story revolves around the house of  courtesans, who struggle for keeping their art alive. They are among those rare creeds of classical dancers who work for the promotion of the art rather than earning money. The play also has  some classic feel, which is well written by Aliya Bukhari and is brilliantly directed by Iqbal Hussain. Zara Noor Abbas is shinning out as Feroza in the play and Bushra Ansari has also come up with her finest acting prowess.

The episode begins when Feroza’s mother is extremely worried for her as it is too late in the night and she is still not back from the function yet. Feroza’s khala Dildaar is cooking something in her mind, she is the one who insists Feroza’s mother to let her go with her in the party and they both felt disappointed ehen Feroza’s mother sent Shaama along with them. It seems like Shaama’s presence has ruined their plans which they both have been  planning secretly. Dildaar has got some really evil plans in her mind as she envies her sister and Feroza.

Feroza is very simpleton, she is secretly in love with a person who writes her love letters promisinh that he will marry her and give her a respectable life and so that she does not have to dance for anyone any more.

It seems like she does not want to live the life of a courtesan. Feroza is the only hope of her mother, as her elder sister is not like Feroza, she does not know the art of dancing.

Dildaar is jealous of her sister and particularly of Feroza. Feroza is planning something in her mind. She asks for her mother’s forgiveness and visits her bedroom when she is sleeping and touches her feet.

Feroza with continuous backing of Dildaar, leaves a letter for her mother and elopes from the back gate of the house. The next day Shaama searches for Feroza in the whole house, while Miskeen comes in, and in  a very nervous tone tells them that the back gate  is unlocked and left open.

This alarms Feroza’s mother, and  later Shaama also breaks the news that Feroza is also missing from the house. Furthermore, Nagina hands her Feroza’s letter which she left for her, in which she has confessed that she is leaving her house for someone she loves and she is doing this on her own and she asks her forgiveness.
