Yunhi Episode-19 Review: Surraiya wrongly blames Kim for advising her to elope

Hum TV drama serial Yunhi is a slow-paced drama but we loved it for its aesthetics. Performances are all incredible but it is Maya Ali and Bilal Ashraf’s onscreen chemistry which is winning our hearts. In the previous episode, we have seen that Surraiya tries to elope in the middle of the night. In this episode, it is shown that Surraiya gets caught and she wrongly puts the whole blame on Kim.

Surraiya has crossed the door and is about to elope, his boyfriend is waiting for her outside her house. She turns maybe she is having a change of mind but then Kim comes asking her what she is doing. While Kim is inquiring Surraiya Daniyal comes and he gets alarmed about watching Surraiya clad in Burqah and holding a bag. He immediately calls his mother, well they could have hidden Surraiya’s folly from the rest of the house members.

Razia could have hidden this act of Surraiya from her dada and father but not all were gathered penalizing Surraiya for her conduct. Surraiya is so frightened by the wrath of his dada and brothers that she wrongly puts the whole blame on Kim telling that she has advised her to elope. Kim is shocked to hear that she is literally hurt by what Surraiya is accusing her of. Not just Surraiya, Razia and Daniyal are also accusing Kim.

Kim says in front of Dawood that she never lies which Dawood admits by saying that he knows she never lies. Razia fumes with fury that he is believing his wife, not her poor sister. Well, we have seen the much-hyped Hamid, not an impressive fellow poor Surraiya deserves much better. They certainly have ulterior motives. We see a glimpse of Dr. Naveed in a scene where he tells Zulfi that Kim is wise enough to handle the situation on her own.

Kim and Dawood’s scene on the rooftop is so well shot. Kim tries to clarify her position but Dawood wins her heart by saying that he fully trusts her. He knows that she has not done anything wrong. Kim’s mood brightens up to hear that she has a big smile on her face. Later Dawood overhears Surraiya talking with Iqbal confessing that she lied about Kim to save herself from the wrath of the men in the house, she further added that marrying a person of her choice is her basic right. The ending scene is so heartwarming when Dawood spreads the prayer mat and is astonished to see Kim wrapped in a dupatta to offer Namaz with him. What a beautiful heart touching episode.
