Karachi ranked the 4th friendliest city in the world for fast food workers

Visitors to fast food restaurants in Pakistan rated the service, on average, at 4.32 out of 5, with local and cultural etiquette

Karachi has been ranked as the fourth friendliest city in the world for fast food workers.

A report released by online gaming platform Spin Casino analyzed customer reviews of the world’s top five food chains: McDonald’s, Burger King, KFC, Subway, and Starbucks in each city across the globe.

Visitors to fast food restaurants in Pakistan rated the service, on average, at 4.32 out of 5, with local and cultural etiquette highly regarded in the country and workers demonstrating how good customer service translates to great customer experience, the platform said in the report issued on March 8.

The platform’s report explained that the low ratings for some of the larger countries, such as the United Kingdom, United States and Australia, could be due to there being a high volume of these restaurants, therefore requiring much more staff to deal with a large number of demanding customers.

The ranking of the top 10 cities with the friendliest fast-food workers in the world as per the report:

1. Jakarta, Indonesia

2. Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

3. Algiers, Algeria

4. Karachi, Pakistan

5. Guatemala City, Guatemala

6. Nairobi, Kenya

7. Bogota, Colombia

8. Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic

9. Alexandria, Egypt

10. New Delhi, India

“As we continue to see more fast-food chains pop up in every town and city, ‘quick bite’ restaurant employees in Pakistan have been named the fourth friendliest in the world,” the report said.

It added, “Our researchers checked which cities the said food chains’ restaurants exist in and how customers rated their experience with their workers.”

According to the report, Despite America’s love for fast food, with the very first fast food chain being established there 103 years ago, the US capital Washington D.C came in 68th place with a rating of 3.63 out of 5.

Meanwhile, London recieved an even lower rating of 3.58 and making it to sit on the in 71st place.
