Lahore 1947: Aamir Khan To Produce Sunny Deol’s Next Film Based On India-Pakistan Partition
It seems like the partition topic has become Sunny Deol's trademark in Bollywood.
Aamir Khan is set to produce Sunny Deol’s next film which is also going to be based on the India-Pakistan partition.
Regarded as Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist, Aamir took to Instagram and announced the film titled Lahore1947.
His production house Aamir Khan Productions will back the project.
“I and the entire team at AKP, are most excited and happy to announce our next, starring Sunny Deol, directed by Raj Kumar Santoshi, titled Lahore, 1947. We look forward to collaborating with the immensely talented Sunny and one of favourite directors Raj Santoshi. The journey we have embarked on promises to be most enriching,” the announcement note read penned by Aamir Khan.
As reported, the story of the film will be based on the play ‘Jisne Lahore nahi dekhya, wo Jamye nahi’, and is believed to be a hard-hitting take on partition events.
Actor Sunny Deol was last seen in ‘Gadar 2’, and after the mammoth success, he has bagged his next project.
