Faysal Quraishi tests positive for Covid-19

Faysal Quraishi becomes the latest celebrity to test positive for Covid-19, it emerges on Tuesday.

The popular actor took to social media to share the latest update, revealing that he is isolating at home.

Fitoor Star in his Instagram story said, “Take care of yourself and be safe this delta variant is getting closer, [The virus] hit me yesterday, I’m in isolation for the next few days. [I’m] vaccinated [and have] no symptoms so far.”

While talking to a local publication, Faisal said: “It’s my second day [since contracting the virus]. By the grace of Allah, my nose is perfectly fine. I can smell things. My sense of taste is fine too. My throat is fine too and I don’t have a fever either. Neither do I have problems with my breathing,” he said.

“I wouldn’t have found out I have Covid-19 if I hadn’t gotten tested,” he added. “All I’d been feeling was a little bit of tiredness in the evening after work, nothing worse than this. The people who have gotten themselves vaccinated have good immunity and are leading fairly healthy lives, they don’t experience the symptoms as severely as others.”

It was a day ago when Actor Ushna Shah tested positive, as did actor Adnan Siddiqui a few days back.
