Jack Ma, Alibaba co-founder, arrives in Pakistan on a private visit
As reported, he arrived via a chartered flight from Katmandu

Jack Ma, the Alibaba co-founder, has made a surprise visit to Pakistan!
He is reported to be accompanied by a team of seven individuals, including five Chinese nationals, one American citizen and one Danish citizen.
Following the social media reports, the first official confirmation of Jack Ma’s visit to Pakistan was made by Pakistani business executive and entrepreneur Javed Afridi via a Tweet.
Javed Afridi without spilling any beans over his visit, welcomed Jack Ma to Pakistan.

Later in the day, Muhammad Azfar Ahsan, the former state minister of and chairman of the Board of Investment (BOI), announced Jack Ma’s arrival in the country on Twitter.
He said, “The founder of @AlibabaGroup, @JackMa, has arrived in Islamabad, Pakistan.”

He also revealed in the tweet that the businessman’s visit is “purely a private visit” and added that even the China Embassy is not aware of the details of his visit and engagements in Pakistan.
He is actually in Lahore and purely a private visit. China Embassy is also not aware about the details of his visit and engagements here.

The news of Jack Ma’s visit to Pakistan was first broken by this online Nepalese news website – it reported this two days ago – and presumably, it knew because the Chinese billionaire traveled to Pakistan after Nepal.
