Natasha Hussain issues apology for calling Shahroz Sabzwari a product of nepotism

Natasha Hussain has issued an apology for calling Shahroz Sabzwari a product of nepotism!

Model-turned-actress Natasha Hussain landed herself in trouble after a clip from her recent interview on Chocolate Times went viral on social media.

The video clip featured host Ayesha Jahanzeb asking Hussain to name an actor whom she believes has benefitted from nepotism, and Natasha Hussain mentions Shahroz Sabzwari, saying, “I don’t really consider him an actor. But his father is a great actor.”

Though the host provided a disclaimer, stating, “None of this is meant to hurt anyone. This is just for fun.”

While the discussion continued as the host said, “So Natty, you’re saying that Shahroz got his father’s platform, and if he was a common actor, he may not have been getting such big projects,” to which Natasha Hussain agreed.

After facing backlash, Natasha Hussain posted an apology on her Instagram story, saying, “I heartily apologize for this statement of mine. I said it but I did not mean it! Shahroz Sabzwari is a very good actor; it just came out wrong! Pakistan is facing so much yet people have ample free time on their hands to sit back and blow everything out of proportion. bhai maaf kar duo [forgive me] and kindly focus on your own life!”

Natasha Hussain’s remarks were not received well by netizens and celebrities and a few reached out in support of Sabzwari.

although her daughter is also a product of nepotism but I don’t know it feels like calling shahroz a nepo baby is an insult to nepotism. why do they even ask such questions like this? we all know he isn’t a great actor nor her daughter is so what’s the point.
