In a video message posted to his X account, Zaka said he could not respond earlier as he was busy. The self-claimed Crypto expert stressed that he was busy at Stanford University, California, USA.

Recalling an incident from 2020, Waqar Zaka said that Nida Yasir “made the biggest mistake” by inviting the parents of a girl who had been murdered after sexual abuse, and made them cry on TV by asking sensitive questions.
He went on to add that when Nida received backlash, she claimed on her show that her team hadn’t invited the parents, but had themselves approached the channel through Sarim Burney to gain “media support”.
Zaka stressed that Yasir falsely blamed her team’s actions on Sarim Burney and played a video purportedly discrediting Nida Yasir’s version.
He also aimed to disprove Nida Yasir’s claims that an FIR was filed only after the parents appeared on her show, presenting contrary evidence from the deceased child’s family.
Waqar Zaka alleged that Nida Yasir’s discontent stemmed from his efforts to challenge her claims, revealing that he had even urged ARY CEO Salman Iqbal to replace her as the morning show host.
