Reham Khan has announced her second feature film, “Cheema, Chattha and Bajwa.”
The renowned journalist announced her film on the “Hafiz Ahmed Podcast.”
As reported, the story of the film “Cheema, Chattha and Bajwa” will be based on Punjabis who have settled abroad in Canada the UK, and other foreign countries.
Khan further revealed that the story of the film has been more or less completed, but the casting process is still ongoing as they’re searching for the “perfect Pakistani Punjabi hero” who is around 26-27 years of age.
The 2016 film “Janaan” was also produced by Reham Khan.
Janaan stars Armeena Rana Khan, Bilal Ashraf, Ali Rehman Khan, Hania Aamir, and Ajab Gul, in the lead roles centered on the problem of child abuse.
The film was set in the Swat Valley and had an impressive box office run of PKR 30 Cr.
Reham Khan went viral into the news for tying the knot with a younger partner last year in December in what was her third marriage.
She first got married in 1993 to Ijaz Rehman. The former couple then got divorced in 2005.
The journalist later married former Prime Minister Imran Khan in 2014, which ended a year later.
