Timothee Chalamet’s Hamas joke on Saturday Night Live is the most insensitive American thing
Social media users were outraged at Timothee Chalamet’s involvement in the insensitive script.

Timothee Chalamet’s Hamas joke on Saturday Night Live has left social media outraged!
Hollywood actor Timothee Chalamet made a guest appearance on the popular comedy show ‘Saturday Night Live’ however, his skit mocking the genocide in Gaza was the least sensible thing that has left the social media users in disgust.
In the insensitive skit, Timothee played a man who is ready to commit suicide and has a band called Hamas.
Timothée Chalamet says he has a band called Hamas, which is followed by a ‘Please Don’t Destroy’ member saying he’s not sharing a band by that name: “Dude I’m not sharing a song by Hamas on Instagram”

The joke was indeed disgusting, hitting a sensitive issue where more than 11000 thousand people have been killed in the name of targeting the Palestinian militant group Hamas by Israel.
The popular American show targeting the conflict is the least we expected.
SNL has truly fell off cause tonight was a hot mess…. They’re stuck in 2009

Social media users were outraged at Timothee Chalamet’s involvement in the insensitive script.
A number of social media users also pointed out how SNL responded to the Ukraine war by inviting a choir to sing a song about peace, in contrast to mocking the deaths of countless Palestinians in which the USA is complicit.
Entertainment has a history of devaluing the lives of Arabs and Muslims. Thousands have been killed, children a significant amount of them, but making light of that reinforces that those lives have no value. Compare that and the Aladdin sketch to how SNL addressed Ukraine. https://t.co/owkJFFq4Ox pic.twitter.com/4aXsLnumP3

how unfair is it that people are losing their jobs for vocally supporting palestine but those incels can do this and get away with it? https://t.co/buZsPW16mf

SNL had a Ukrainian choir sing over a candlelight vigil where the candles spelled out Kyiv when the Ukraine was attacked, but when it’s Palestine being bombed, and thousands of Palestinians– men, women, and babies– being killed, they feel comfortable making that into punchline. https://t.co/hK8XchH9b4

americans love joking about wars and people dying in the middle east but god forbid someone throws a 9/11 joke you’ll find the whole cracker squad cluching their pearls and crying the victim https://t.co/VF2trPosFE
