Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s ‘Thackeray’ in trouble ahead of trailer launch
After Manto, Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be seen portraying the character of Shiv Sena supremo Bal Keshav Thackeray, also known as Bal Thackeray in the biopic ‘Thackeray’.
The film ‘Thackeray’ seems to be in trouble ahead of the trailer launch. The Indian Central Board of Film Certification has raised objection to three scenes and two dialogues in the film.

As being reported CBFC has objected against a particular Babri Masjid scene and another dialogue ‘Yandu Gundu’ which has been used against the South Indian community residing in Mumbai. Shiv Sena politician Sanjay Raut, who is also the producer of the film, however, maintains that the makers will go ahead with the trailer launch today as scheduled.
The film has been directed by Abhijit Panse and written by Sanjay Raut. Film also features Amrita Rao playing role of wife of Bal Thackeray, Meena Tai Thackeray.
The film is slated to release on January 23, 2019. It is shot in Hindi and Marathi and is also dubbed in English.
