Netflix’s star-studded cast of ‘Don’t Look Up’ will also include Leonardo DiCaprio, Meryl Streep,Timothee Chalamet
The new Netflix comedy by Adam McKay ‘Don’t Look Up’ has roped in Leonardo DiCaprio, Meryl Streep, Timothee Chalamet.
These Hollywood A-list actors will be joining Jennifer Lawrence, Jonah Hill, Himesh Patel, Ariana Grande, Kid Cudi, and Matthew Perry. While Cate Blanchett and Rob Morgan are already part of the cast.
This high profile project is being written and directed by McKey, the filmmaker behind “Step Brothers,” “Anchorman,” “Talladega Nights” and “The Big Short”.
Reportedly, the story of the film follows two low-level astronomers who leave on a media tour to warn mankind of an impending asteroid that could destroy the planet.
It is speculated that Lawrence and DiCaprio will be playing the two astronomers, however there is no official confirmation yet.
The project is expected to go on floor before the end of the year.
