18-member Punjab cabinet sworn in
Portfolios to the cabinet members will be allocated later on

The 18-member Punjab cabinet was sworn in on Wednesday.
Punjab Governor Muhammad Baligh-ur-Rehman administered the oaths to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s 18-member cabinet in the ceremony held at the Governor House in Lahore.
The newly formed Punjab cabinet includes Marriyum Aurangzeb, Syed Muhammad Ashiq Hussain Shah, Muhammad Kazim Pirzada, Rana Sikandar Hayat, Khawaja Imran Nazeer, Khawaja Salman Rafique, Zeeshan Rafique, Bilal Akbar Khan, Sohaib Ahmed Malik, Azma Zahid Bukhari, Bilal Yasin, Ramesh Sindh Arora, Khalil Tahir, Faisal Ayub, PML-Q’s Shafay Hussain, Sher Ali Gorchani, Sohail Shoukat Butt and Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said the members of her cabinet are talented and will work for the public.
Talking to the media after the oath-taking ceremony, CM Maryam Nawaz lauded her newly-appointed cabinet member.
She said: “Very talented and young people are indicted in the cabinet.”
“Foreign-educated and experienced people have been made part of the Punjab cabinet,” she added.
