24 terrorists killed during three days of operations in Balochistan: ISPR

During the operation, 4 LEA personnel and 2 civilians embraced martyrdom

At least 24 terrorists were killed by law enforcement agencies during the “firefights and sanitisation/clearance operations” which lasted for three days in Mach and Kolpur in Balochistan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

ISPR in a press release issued on Friday, informed, “On the night of January 29/30 2024, terrorists attacked Mach and Kolpur complexes in Balochistan. Law enforcement agencies deputed on security offered stiff resistance and forced the attackers to repulse.”

These terrorists were then hunted down in the ensuing sanitisation and clearance operations which have now been concluded after clearing and securing the area, it added.

The key terrorists — killed after they attacked the Mach and Kolpur Complexes in Balochistan on the night of January 29 and 30 — include Shehzad Baloch, Attaullah, Salah Uddin, Abdul Wadood and Zeeshan, said ISPR.

“The identification process of remaining terrorists is in process, the military’s media wing stated,” the statement added.

During an intense exchange of fire with terrorists, at least four brave law enforcement agency personnel and two civilians embraced martyrdom.

The martyred LEA personnel fought gallantly against the terrorists, the military’s media wing stated.

“Law enforcement agencies deputed on security offered stiff resistance and forced the attackers to repulse,” the ISPR said in its statement.

The ISPR maintained that the effective response by LEAs is a testament to their unrelenting resolve in the fight against terrorism.

“Pakistan’s Security Forces stand shoulder to shoulder with other Law Enforcement Agencies to ensure peace & stability in the country,” ISPR said.
