A consensus on fasting and Eid on the same day in the country!!

Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry wants to create a consensus on the moon with the help of science across Pakistan. He expressed his desires in a meeting with the Chairman Ruet e Hilal Committee.

According to details, Chairman Ruet e Hilal Committee Maulana Abdul Khabir has met recently with the Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Fawad Chaudhry, and discussed a consensus on fasting on the same day in the country.

According to the source, the two in the meeting reiterated their efforts to reach a consensus on fasting and Eid on the same day across the country.

On the occasion, Maulana while agreeing said that the Ruet e Hilal Committee and the Ministry of Science and Technology would work together on the sighting of the moon.

Later, Maulana Abdul Khabir received the moon app developed by the ministry on his mobile phone and praised Fawad Chaudhry’s services in the field of science.

It is pertinent here to mention that in past, Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman was removed from the post of chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Pakistan and replaced by Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad as the new chairman.

Keeping in view that earlier a few days Fawad Chaudry had claimed that the holy month of Ramadan will start from 14 April in Pakistan.
