Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer Siraj Ul Haq said that JI’s shutter down strike would be peaceful.
JI chief also appealed to the masses to make full preparations to make the strike successful for their rights.
“There will be no encirclement and arson, he added.
Taking a jibe at the caretaker government, he said “It is not the duty of the caretaker government to increase electricity bills. The task of caretaker government is to hold elections in 90 days.”
He also thanked trader associations, the business community, students, lawyers, and others for making the campaign against the inflated power bills successful.
