Maryam Nawaz Released on Bail

Maryam Nawaz, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) leader has been released on bail after her lawyers fulfilled requirements set forth by the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday.

Kot Lakhpat Jail officials sent the release orders to Services Hospital for Maryam Nawaz’s signatures.

A division bench of the LHC headed by Justice Ali Baqar Najafi had granted her bail on 4 Nov in Chaudhry Sugar Mills case.

She has been granted conditional bail and was ordered to submit sureties of Rs10 million, an additional Rs50 million and surrender her passport to the court.

Maryam filed the application after her father, three-time former prime minister Nawaz Sharif was hospitalized in critical condition.
