Pakistan Railway announces 33% decrease in fares for 3 days of Eid holidays
Pakistan Railways (PR) will also roll out three special Eid ul Adha trains.
Pakistan Railway announced a 33% decrease in fares for the 3 days of the Eid holidays!
A discount will be granted on tickets for all classes.
However, the concessional fares will not be applicable to the special trains.
The Railway administration issued a notification in this regard on Saturday.
It was reported earlier that Pakistan Railways (PR) will roll out three special Eid ul Adha trains.
These special trains will consist of AC and economy-class bogies.
The first train will depart from Quetta to Peshawar at 10 am on June 26.
The second special train will proceed from Karachi to Lahore via Multan on June 26 at 8:30 pm
The third train will depart from Lahore for Karachi via Multan at 11:00 am on June 27.
On the account of Eid ul Azha, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) announced that domestic flight fares will be reduced by would be 10% during the Eid holidays and that all domestic flight classes are discounted.
Aviation Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique ordered the national carrier to publicize the Eid package.
The federal government has announced the Eid-ul-Adha holidays from Wednesday, June 28, to Saturday, July 1.
