Punjab announces to extend winter vacations for schools
All public and private schools across Punjab will now open on January 10
The government of Punjab announced on Saturday to extend winter vacations for all schools across the province.
As reported, the decision has been taken amid the prevailing cold weather, smog and the ongoing COVID-19 situation in the province.
An official notification in this regard has been issued by the Punjab’s School Education Department stating that holidays for all schools have been increased.
According to the notification, winter vacation in schools has been extended till January 9.
All public and private schools across Punjab will now open on January 10, the notification added.
It should be noted that winter vacations in schools across Punjab were ending on January 1.
