RIP Aron Bushnell: A U.S. Air Force airman set himself on fire outside Israeli Embassy in Washington protesting Gaza Genocide

RIP Aron Bushnell trend on social media timelines as a US Air Force member passed away after setting himself on fire in front of the Israeli Embassy, protesting the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
25-year-old US Air Force active member identified as Aaron Bushnell set himself on fire in front of the Israeli Embassy in Washington DC, while screaming “free Palestine,” according to multiple reports.
Aaron reportedly succumbed to his burn injuries.
The video circulating on social media shows, Aaron Bushnell could be heard saying, “I will no longer be complicit in genocide” adding that the harm he’s about to do himself is nothing compared to the suffering of Palestinians in the Gaza region.
The person then puts down the recording device and begins pouring liquid over himself before lighting himself on fire while screaming, “Free Palestine.”
As reported Law enforcement arrived and doused the flames with fire extinguishers after he collapsed.
Since Oct. 7, 2024, the ongoing Israeli offensive on Gaza has resulted in the killing of at least 29,692 Palestinian civilians of whom are children and women.
Additionally, 69,879 are currently injured, according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza.
