Tech billionaire Elon Musk arrived in Israel to kick off a high-profile trip to the country amid the ongoing truce with Palestinian group Hamas on Monday morning.

As Musk arrived, Israel stated that it reached an agreement with Elon Musk that SpaceX would provide ‘Starlink’ satellite internet services in Gaza only with its approval.

Musk had earlier backed the idea of Starlink for war-hit Gaza.

Israel’s Communications Minister, Shlomo Karhi, posted on X that Starlink satellite units would only operate in Israel and the Gaza Strip with his ministry’s approval.
