Pasoori Nu: Why remake an already existing hit song and present it in a radically different style!

‘Pasoori’ has been successfully destroyed by Bollywood for the Satyaprem Ki Katha song Pasoori Nu!

Well, Bollywood has its own charm of copying or rather say stealing the original content and rebranding it as a remix, remake, or rendition.

But the question is why a million-dollar industry has to Remake an already Existing Song, that has been a global hit and present it in a Radically different style!

As soon as Arijit Singh’s version of the Coke Studio’s global hit by Ali Sethi and Shae Gill’s Pasoori came out for Sajid Nadiadwala’s film starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, music fans can’t keep calm.

“Pasoori remake doesn’t make sense and aren’t there other singers except for Arijit Singh? I’m tired of hearing him also those lyrics of pastor ain’t romantic what the hell is wrong with the team?” a Twitter user wrote.

“Kartik is getting it wrong. Songs play a huge role in forming up an actor’s legacy (mainstream actor) in the long run. Remaking a hit song might help him today but nobody will remember this song was even there in the movie in 2-3 yrs’ time,” another said.

T-Series has successfully destroyed Pasoori, that’s what the majority of the music fans believe.

Just dropping it here so all of us can revisit the original gem #Pasoori, sung by brilliant #AliSethi and #ShaeGill. Because the makers of #SatyaPremKiKatha have just dropped the teaser of the remix #PasooriNu and ruined it.
