142 Palestinians are reported to have been killed in 24 hours by Israel in attacks carried out from air, land, and sea!

According to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA), at least 142 more Palestinians have been killed, while 278 others have been wounded by Israeli attacks on Gaza in the 24 hours, Al Jazeera reported.

Potable water is also growing scarcer in the territory as the World Health Organisation has described the living conditions as “inhumane”, which is spreading diseases including hepatitis A.

On the other hand, at least 22 Palestinians, including a woman and children, were arrested overnight in the occupied West Bank by Israeli forces, Al Jazeera reported on Saturday quoting the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club.

According to the organization, the arrests were carried out in Hebron, Nablus, Tubas, Bethlehem, Jenin and Jerusalem and “were accompanied by widespread raids and abuse, in addition to widespread sabotage and destruction of citizens’ homes, the destruction of infrastructure, and the confiscation of money and vehicles.”

UNOCHA also confirmed that the Israeli forces destroyed Israa University in Gaza City after they used the campus for more than two months as a base.

“An ad hoc detention facility for interrogating Palestinian detainees before their transfer to an unknown location,” it added.

The death toll from Israeli aggression in Gaza has crossed the 24,700 mark.
