Imad Wasim announces retirement from international cricket

Imad Wasim on Friday announced his retirement from international cricket!

Pakistani all-rounder Imad Wasim taking it to social media stressed that it was the right time to end his stint as an international cricketer.

“In recent days I have been doing a lot of thinking about my international career and I have come to the conclusion that now it’s the right time for me to announce my retirement from international cricket,” Imad stated.

“It has truly been an honour to represent Pakistan. Each of my 121 appearances across the ODI and T20I formats was a dream come true,” he added.

Imad also thanked his fans for always supporting him with “such passion”.

Earlier in the day, Islamabad’s head coach Junaid Khan confirmed that all-rounder Imad Wasim will skip the National T20 Cup to participate in the upcoming Abu Dhabi T10 League.

Imad, 34, on Friday, was named in Islamabad’s squad by PCB.
