Mishi Khan slams Ramazan transmission for bringing children into the limelight

Her reaction comes following the popular child vlogger Shiraz's inclusion in ARY Ramazan Transmission

Mishi Khan has slammed the Ramazan transmissions for bringing children into the limelight.

The response from the former actress-turned-host comes after Waseem Badami roped in the popular child vlogger Shiraz, who is the face of the Shirazi village vlogs YouTube channel to ARY Ramazan Transmission.

For the past few years, the same transmission also features viral sensation Ahmad Shah and his pack of adorable brothers in the show.

However, Mishi Khan is left super annoyed with the move.

Sharing her thoughts in a video posted on her Instagram handle, the Uroosa star criticized the Ramazan Transmission, Shane Ramazan.

“Why why why?” Mishi captioned alongside her video on Instagram.

“Why did you have to book Shiraz for the Ramazan transmission and take away his organic sweet innocence? Before it was Ahmad Shah who sounds like an adult now only because of the bad city environment. Please leave the children alone and don’t take away their innocence for God’s sake,” she said.

“I am very saddened by the fact that a child, who became so famous on social media that his videos are watched with great interest in countries other than Pakistan, and he has also received a silver button from YouTube, and he reached one million followers on Instagram – he’s so cute, he says such organic, innocent, sweet things. I am saddened that he is now a part of a Ramazan transmission. Do you guys not find anyone else?”

Mishi Khan continued, “First, you ruined Ahmad Shah’s innocence and turned him into a city adult. You steal their childhood. What was the need? He was already famous due to his hard work. Like hawks, you have swooped in. The timing must be absurd. He’s a kid. He needs sleep. He must be awake at Sehri time and Iftari time to participate in the transmission the entire month. At least spare someone. Let someone stay organic and innocent. You bring them to cities and start your absurdities. I’m truly saddened.”

“I also want to ask his father – he is already quite well known. What was the need to agree to this? You were so interested that he comes to the city, doesn’t get any sleep, and gets involved in city talk, depriving of his innocence? What type of people are you?” visibly angered, Mishi said, adding, “Shame on all of you.”
