Yunhi Episode-18 Review: Will Kim be able to save Surraiya as she is eloping in the middle of the night

The episode has some cute moments of Kim and Dawood

HUM TV drama serial Yunhi after its 18 episodes, is still stuck with Surraiya’s issue. We see fewer of Kim and Dawood’s scenes. Bilal Ashraf and Maya Ali’s onscreen chemistry is simply crackling. In the previous episode, we have seen that Kim unintentionally demeans Surraiya in front of Dada Jee. In this episode, it is shown that despite all oppression Surraiya elopes in the middle of the night.

The episode is all about Surraiya and her nikkah. And by the way, the nikkah day has not arrived yet in this episode. One of the best things about Yunhi is its calmness and that is slow-paced with the absence of bangs in the play. Kim tries to fight Surraiya’s case but Daniyal is not ready to pay any heed to her, he snatches Surraiya’s phone from her hand. He is cooking another scheme in his head about his and Husna’s nikkah.

Muddasir is rightly sensing that there is something fishy about why Dada Jaan is insisting on Nikkah in such haste. He tells his wife to call Iqbal and asks her about the matter. Iqbal has disappointed the audience by spilling the beans in front of her sister, she told everything true to her sister despite of the fact that her bhabi has told her not to tell anything to Firdous nor she has thought about her niece Surraiya’s future? How careless and mean Iqbal.

Firdous and Muddasir’s argument about Surraiya’s liking someone is interesting. Muddasir is cooking up some kind of scheme in his head, he already has ulterior motives behind this nikkah now let’s see how he will cash this Surraiya’s refusal and her liking thing on early nikkah. Hamid is still not shown but the character hype has been created well but seen in the promo Hamid is not played by some notable star.

Kim and Dawood’s scene on the rooftop is so cute. First he scares her off and then says ” Apni biwi kay saath bhi mazaak na karoon tu kis k saath karoon”. In the other scene where Kim is doing her “Research,” he asks him what Islam says about Husband’s rights. Kim is speechless. Well despite Kim’s convincing Dawood for Owais, he is of the view that usually boys in such kind of relationships are time pass. Well Surraiya is resolute that she will not let her nikkah happen with Hamid so in the mid of the night she sneaks out of the house clad in Burkha, will she succeed in her elopement? Interesting buildup!
