Diego Maradona: World mourns death of the greatest footballer of all time
One of the greatest footballers of all time, Diego Maradona passed away on Wednesday in Tigre, Argentina suffering a cardiac attack.
On the death of football legend, Argentine President Alberto Fernandez has declared three days of national mourning.
“You took us to the top of the world. You made us immensely happy,” the president said in his tweet.

Maradona, in his prime, led his national team to a World Cup triumph, in 1986.
The football legend suffered a number of health issues. Earlier this month he underwent successful brain surgery and was discharged from the hospital on November 11.
With his death, an era of football history comes to an end.
