Hammad Azhar resigns form PTI’s organisational positions

Hammad Azha has resigned from PTI’s organisational positions!
On Thursday, Hammad tendered his resignation from the positions of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Punjab President and General Secretary, citing the need for effective leadership and direct access to the party’s supreme leader, Imran Khan.
Former federal minister posted a two-page resignation on the social media platform.
“I will continue to work for the PTI as a party worker. I have decided to resign after thinking a lot,” Azhar said.
On the other hand, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has decided against accepting the resignation of Hammad Azhar.
Barrister Gohar Ali Khan said: “I cannot accept the resignation of Hammad Azhar during the ongoing situation.”
“Currently, we do not accept the resignation of Hammad Azhar from the party posts, nor do we have such intent.”
