Pinjra Last Episode Review: Court Verdict goes in favor of Abhaan

All well that ends well

ARY Digital drama serial Pinjra is an excellent serial highlighting numerous issues related to children and their upbringing. Half penned down by the veteran writer Asma Nabeel, this serial is unique of its kind due to its subject matter and incredible performances. Young artists have really amazed us with their brilliant performances. Credit also goes to Najaf Bilgrami for its superb execution. We were dreading a tragic end but fortunately, it’s a happy one, Abhaan is a free boy and all things get sorted in the end.

The last episode begins with the court scene when Jugde is about to give its verdict which seems that it is going against poor Abhaan but right at that moment Azaan makes his entry with the principal. She presented the CCTV actual footage in which it is clearly shown that Umer is beating the hell out of Abhaan and in that passion he loses his control and falls off the rail while Abhaan tried his best to save him but failed.

This evidence is sufficient enough to prove Abhaan innocent but then on top of that Principal gives her statement although I have not clearly understood the reason why she has not produced it to the court in the first place. Anyways principal apologizes for hiding it. This is not enough Umer’s mother gives her statement against her husband telling the court how he bribed Abhaan’s ex-lawyer. The court gives its verdict in favour of Abhaan, he is now a free boy.

It is so heartwarming to see Abhaan getting back to Wajiha’s house and the first thing he asks is about his father. As we have seen in the previous episode Jawaid has turned a new leaf. He has realized his own conduct and he is ashamed of it. Khadija comes back to him and they all are reunited as a family. Jawaid is absolved when he begs forgiveness from his son. Well, this episode is an eye-opener to all such narcissistic parents who emotionally abuse their children when will they go to realize their fault?

All well that ends well. Dua and Farjaad give their mother a green signal to marry Arsalan. Jawaid also realizes the fact that he has always wrongly judged Wajiha. The party in the end in honour of Abhaan also unites Wajiha and Arsalan. Farjaad and Azaan’s scene where they are a bit flirtatious with the lady inspector looks funny. Overall a perfect ending which ends with a very positive message of forgiveness, how Abhaan cares for Umer’s parents and the way they pay a visit to his grave is quite heart-touching. I want to congratulate the whole team of Pinjra for bringing up such a masterpiece. It is a must-watch serial for all young parents.
